Burrell, Brenda

Brenda Lynne Burrell is the co-founder and technical director of Kubatana.net, Zimbabwe's civic and human rights information portal. She has a background in social justice activism and has 12 years of experience working in the pro-democracy movement in Zimbabwe strengthening the use of information communication technologies in civil society organizations. Widely respected in Zimbabwe, Burrell has worked tirelessly to provide more democratic access to information for all Zimbabweans. She is currently leading Kubatana's Freedom Fone project.
