Dear visitors,

due to the ongoing tense pandemic situation, we are unfortunately unable to offer any face-to-face events at our locations in Bonn and Berlin and tour our broadcasting facilities at this time in 2022.

As soon as we can open our doors again, we will inform you here.

In the meantime, we'll be happy to welcome you with exciting digital formats, introduce you to DW in all its diversity, and get you talking to our media professionals.

If you are interested in our company presentation and exchanging with our experts in the digital space, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to offer you a customized visitor's program as a digital event or, if feasible, we can also come to your institution on request.

International broadcasting in times of misinformation and fake news

The DW visitor service organizes professional events for those with a background in media, partners of foreign cultural initiatives and actors from the field of international cooperation. Every visit is accompanied by a professional from our team and includes an exciting program tailored to the interests of the group.

We facilitate meaningful exchanges with our experts according to your interests. Let us know what topics you would like to discuss and we will arrange a discussion with our expert(s).

Between brick buildings and TV studios

During your visit of our main studio based in the former complex of electrical company AEG, you will learn about DW’s history, its profile, mission and current multimedia projects. You will also hear about our various stations that broadcast daily and in multiple languages. Additionally, if the daily schedule allows, you will visit the studios and editorial desks of our English, German, Spanish or Arabic TV programs. 

Furthermore, we are happy to tell you the history of our building in the Wedding district of Berlin.

Framework

Please let us know your preferred dates and topics. Due to the high number of inquiries, we ask that all requests be sent at least one month before the planned day of visit.

Each visit takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Programs with discussions with our experts might take longer. The size of the visiting groups is limited to a maximum of 15 persons. Groups bigger than this or smaller than 10 persons require extra coordination with us.

Our service is free and available in German, English or Spanish.
