Filipino domestic worker in Singapore and author of "Path to Remittances"
Papias Banados is a migrant worker from the Philippines. She has worked in Kuwait and Singapore for the past 15 years to help educate her two children living with relatives on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. She’s had a wide network of Filipino migrant worker friends in Singapore and overseas and has recently written a book titled "Path to Remittances" reflecting their stories of the challenges and trauma of supporting families back home.
