Co-Founder, Chadian Association for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights, Chad
Delphine Djiraibe is a Chadian attorney, human rights and environmental activist. She is co-founder of the Chadian Association for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights and in 2006 founded the Public Interest Law Center (PILC). She has been working on the Chad-Cameroon Oil and Pipeline Project since its inception and has been advocating social, economic, and environmental rights in Chad and for World Bank accountability and corporate responsibility in the disbursement of oil revenues. In 2004, she received the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for her work.
