DW and The World announce content collaboration

American daily radio program "The World" and Germany's international broadcaster DW are extending their global reach through a new collaboration, offering U.S. audiences even more robust slate of global journalism.

The World, a daily global news radio program from GBH and PRX, and DW are joining forces to expand their international news coverage. Through this collaboration, they aim to deliver deeper, more diverse global journalism to U.S. audiences and amplify the reach of trusted international reporting from both partners.

The World will feature DW podcast reports from shows like Living Planet and Inside Europe during the daily broadcast and at TheWorld.org. DW will air audio reports from The World podcasts on an ongoing basis, and feature The World reporting at DW.com.  

Through this new collaboration, The World audiences can now access signature DW reporting exploring topics such as the pros and cons of the global flower market trade, updates on the sentencing of Bosnian-Serb leader Milorad Dodik, and Europe's search for alternatives to Starlink. DW audiences can tap into The World's global journalism covering breaking news and features, from Japanese ghost towns to Ontario's $15 billion plan to build small modular nuclear reactors.

Airing on more than 370 public media stations in the U.S. and heard by nearly 2 million listeners each week, The World is also available free across all major on-demand podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Overcast, and Pocket Casts.
