Former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the United Nations and World Trade Organization, Geneva, Switzerland
Till the end of 2012, Jean Feyder was the ambassador and permanent representative of Luxembourg to the United Nations office and the World Trade Organization in Geneva. Previously he was the permanent representative of his country to the United Nations in New York and to the European Union in Brussels. He also served as the director of the division for cooperation and development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg. Feyder studied law and obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Luxembourg. He recently published a widely cited book entitled Brutal Famine: Who profits from the misery of poor countries?
