Henzler, Alvaro

Alvaro Henzler holds a degree in economics from Universidad del Pacífico, graduated from the leadership for global competitiveness program at Georgetown University and won the “Leadership Scholarship” from Fundación Carolina. Henzler has experience in academics and the public and social sectors. He worked as a trade consultant for the ratification and implementation of the US Peru Free Trade Agreement (FTA) at the Peruvian Embassy and as the Economic Assistant to the Ambassador. EnseñaPerú’s leadership formed at the perfect confluence of events: following Henzler’s personal trip through the rural Peruvian highlands, he received a call from two inspired expatriates, Daniella Raffo and Javier Navarro, inviting him to lead EnseñaPerú as CEO and chairman of the board. Compelled by his recent experiences and passion for education in Peru, Henzler accepted the challenge.
