Herrera-Pahl, Claudia

Claudia Herrera-Pahl began her journalistic career as editor of the Mexican newspaper El Financiero. She then emigrated to Germany where she worked as correspondent for El Financiero and as a journalist for the Spanish radio department of Deutsche Welle. In 2000 she joined the Spanish-speaking TV staff of Deutsche Welle. In 2002 she began establishing the Spanish version of the DW website and has been in charge of the medium since 2009. She studied communication science with a specialization in journalism at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
