Ihl, Jan Michael

Jan Michael Ihl (31) works with OpenLeaks as media coordinator and spokesperson. Besides freelancing in text and TV journalism, he is working as a web project manager for the ministry of education in Saarland. Before that he has been employed at German national daily "taz" and at the online-only news outlet "Netzeitung" as project manager and editor, running blog and citizen journalism projects. After volunteering and freelancing for Greenpeace for over a decade during his studies of design, business and political science his main interest still is environmental topics, but since spending half a year in Istanbul as IJP fellow he also developed a deep interest for Turkey and Turkish-German relations.
