Movlazadeh, Zahid

Zahid Movlazadeh is the Action Learning Programme Manager and the Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East and North Africa at the Global Secretariat of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC). He has more than ten years of experience developing civil society organization partnerships and networks for conflict transformation, designing and facilitating confidence-building initiatives, facilitating bilateral meetings and dialogue events, as well as designing strategies for promotion of peace in the Caucasus, Central Asia and in Eastern Europe. Prior to joining GPPAC he represented International Alert in Azerbaijan, worked with the Centre for Peacebuilding and Community Development, Relief International, and served as a consultant for various local and international organizations on projects related to conflict transformation.
