Pelz, Daniel
Coordinating Editor Africa Programs Deutsche Welle
Daniel Pelz is currently coordinating editor of Deutsche Welle's Africa and Middle East Department. He first went to Africa 10 years ago to work as a volunteer in a center for street children in Nairobi. He later interned at a local Kenyan media house and went on to study journalism in Germany and Kenya. From 2007-2009 he was a trainee at Deutsche Welle. He has reported from various African countries including Uganda, South Sudan, South Africa and Ghana.
