New TV format REV highlights innovative mobility concepts

DW’s new TV format REV presents the latest mobility concepts from different countries, climate-friendly technologies and vehicle tests.

Starting January 11, the 26-minute show REV will run weekly on DW's English-language TV channel as well as on dw.com as a live stream or video-on-demand.

REV, derived from “revolution,” refers not only to the engine of a vehicle, but also to the dynamic change within the mobility sector, which is driven by digitization, globalization and the growing importance of sustainability.

REV tells stories that capture the Zeitgeist. For example, the series “The Driver” portrays the everyday lives of taxi drivers in different countries, while the ‘docusoap’ “Garage” takes viewers into the multicultural world of car repair shops in Berlin. The section “Soundtrack” highlights the surprisingly close connection between cars and music.
