Teenager Lena Mayer-Landrut brings Germany a Eurovision win for the first time in 28 years.

I didn't like the song at all. It is stupid how people vote. Everything is political. People voted not for the song but for the country. Everybody is hoping Germany is going to save the EU from collapse. -- Cristina, Moldova

I saw the Eurovision Internet feed for the finale. I was totally blown away at the talent and energy that I witnessed from many countries. I congratulate Lena on her magnificent job and on winning the competition. May she have much success in the future. -- Charles, US

I had thought that Eurovision music would be sung in native languages. I've been rather disappointed.-- Jean, US

I think she should have sung in her native language in order to be a proper representation for Germany. -- Pablo, Germany

Lena absolutely deserved the victory. She is a very talented singer and a sweet person. -- Tigran

Lena was awful. There were too many other talents that far exceeded this little cutie girl with an annoying, flat-sounding voice (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Norway, Ireland, Armenia, Romania, Turkey, Denmark, France, Belgium, Belarus, Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia, Sweden and more).
People who were either tone deaf or politically influenced voted for Germany. -- Dennis, US

Wow, very nice performance. Yoooo Lena! -- Asim, Germany

Schubert, Wagner, Bruckner, Brahms and Lena. Yes, I see the progress in music with my cousins over there in Germany. -- Don, US

Cute song, cute girl. She is a big improvement over Nicole in 1982. -- Anke, US
